Viewability Guaranteed Trading Terms and Conditions – June 2021
In addition to the existing advertiser T&Cs, the following apply to line items booked from the viewability guaranteed rate card.
1. Measurement and delivery
1.1 All viewability measurement is as per the IAB viewability standard. That is:
1.2 Desktop and mobile video – an impression is viewable if at least 50% of pixels of an ad unit in view for at least two continuous seconds.
1.3 Oovvuu uses MOAT as its primary viewability measurement platform.
2. For all line items that include a viewability guarantee
2.1 Line items will be monitored weekly and optimised throughout their duration to ensure the agreed in-view rate is achieved.
2.2 Buyer/Agency agrees to utilise Oovvuu's viewability data from MOAT for the purpose of guaranteed viewability delivery and reconciliation.
2.3 Buyer / agency is also welcome to supply their own viewability tracking tags from accredited viewability vendor for their internal reporting purposes.
2.4 Buyer/agency acknowledges that Oovvuu can not guarantee viewability if the advertisers creative is not to Oovvuu and IAB specifications. In the event the creative is not to spec and can not be amended the buyer/agency agrees to change the cost model from VCPM to CPM.
3. Vendor tracking discrepancies
3.1 Should discrepancies between Oovvuu’s viewability reporting and the advertiser/agency’s exceed 10%, discrepancies will be investigated by Oovvuu, but Oovvuu has no obligations to adopt or accept advertiser/agencies viewability reporting unless specifically defined in a agency or advertiser custom trading agreement.
4.1 Billing will continue to be based on the number of booked (served) viewable impressions.
4.2 Oovvuu is not responsible for any third party ad-serving costs.
5. Viewability guarantees not applicable to:
5.1 Programmatically traded inventory
5.2 Apps, tablet and CTV inventory
5.3 Value add/bonus
5.4 Any other products not specified on the guaranteed viewable rate card
