Often there are multiple levels to the organisations that use the Oovvuu platform, for instance there may be a parent organisation and then individual publications in different cities and states.
Oovvuu supports up to three levels of organisation hierarchy, so if you have multiple publications or content providers they can each be their own organisation and till report into the parent organisation.
For instance Oovvuu is a parent company, and whilst we have co-productions with Canadian Press and Press Association we will have those as children of Oovvuu.
Each organisation in an hierarchy is unique and does not share logins or credentials amongst them, this is for security reasons to keep organisations running as unqiue and isolated entities.
Reports will be rolled up to the parent organisation, this way the users can see the organisations performance of child organisations however they do not need to be a member of the child organisations.
To setup the hierarchy, you will need to navigate to the intended child organisation. When you do this, in the organisation details you will see a section called Organisation Hierarchy. If you expand this you will be able to select the parent organisation, and once you do the hierarchy tree will be updated to reflect these changes.
